If there was a throughline for "Fall With The Lights Down", it would be all the different ways we internalize nostalgia and how loss is the catalyst for how we externalize it.

When we started recording this record, we already had nailed down a process that we honed while making the Last Looks LP. But at some point in recording the new project, something clicked. We found ourselves in some uncharted territories. We began trying to use tools for different purposes than they were intended for. We realized that because we knew the rules, we could now break them with confidence. One example - we experimented with using Melodyne as a creative tool, pitch-shifting unconventional sounds that we’d then use to reinforce a melody or create a new soundscape.
